  1. Describe at least 4 different wireless technology with their respective coverage area.
  2. What is frequency reuse and how it is realized in cellular mobile communication system?

  1. Explain three modes of EM wave propagation.
  2. Explain the concept of clustering with suitable diagrams and formulae.

  1. Describe two-ray ground reflection model with relevant sketches and formulae.

    What is multigraph propagation? Discuss the terms coherence bandwidth, delay spread, doppler spread and coherence time as an impact of multigraph fading.
  2. Describe the types of techniques for improving coverage and capacity in cellular systems.

    Draw the frequency reuse pattern for N=7. Also show co-channels in clusters.
